Ashok Selvan - Priya Anand starrer Kootathil Oruthan is gearing up for its release soon, and the makers are currently involved in the promotions of the film. There is a song in the music album of the film, 'Maatram Ondre Maradhadhu', composed by Nivas. K. Prasanna.
A promo video of this song (Gift song) has been shot recently with many leading K-town celebrities. The list includes Sivakumar, Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi, Sivakarthikeyan, Nasser, Prakash Raj, Arya, Samuthirakani, Vishnu Vishal, RJ Balaji, Remya Nambeesan, director Lingusamy and others. The video song in the theatrical version will feature Ashok Selvan and Priya Anand, but the promo version will be featuring all these above-mentioned stars.
Talking about the song, director Gnanavel says, "The main speciality of this Gift song is its lyrics, which has been written to motivate the youngsters, who are low on life. We got appreciations from many people while filming this song. Like how Kolaveri song trended among youngsters, this Gift song will also be celebrated. We are releasing the promo video song on the 20th of June in Youtube. This song will definitely be liked by all classes of people."
