Association of Malayalam Movie Artists held it's yearly General Body Meeting and the Board members including President Innocent, Vice Presidents Mohanlal and Ganesh Kumar, General Secretary Mammootty, Treasurer Dileep had a chat with the media about the issues addressed in the meeting.
President Innocent said that they take the issue seriously and have been discussing the matter with the police. Vice President Ganesh said that the agenda that the media is trying to impose by branding Dileep as the brain behind the actress abduction case will affect AMMA's free functioning. He also said that both Dileep and Bhavana will continue to receive the full support of the association.
Meanwhile, Dileep and Nadirshah were questioned on the day before the meeting for almost 12 hours by the police regarding the letter from Pulsar Suni (accused abductor) and the telephone calls asking for a bribe
